These include working alongside physiotherapists, chiropractors, dentists and an internationally recognised day spa in Daylesford, Victoria. Monika can complement her massage skills with fitness stretches. This means that she is an advocate for stretching tight / restricted muscles and may recommend ‘homework’ stretches to give you maximum benefit between massages as part of her ‘taking care of yourself’ program.
Techniques such as remedial / deep tissue, therapeutic, trigger point therapy and stretching are used to decrease your pain and discomfort from everyday stresses and/or muscular skeletal conditions such as headaches or lower back pain. Pregnancy massage is also offered and tailored to suit your needs. Her caring approach and hands on experience provides you with beneficial and effective treatments through confident touch by listening, learning and being mindful of your individual needs in a safe, nurturing and comfortable environment.
Reiki is a complementary health approach, based on an Eastern (Japanese) philosophy that vital energy flows through your body. The technique uses gentle touch, to help guide your energy in a way that promotes balance, healing and a deep state of relaxation. The word ‘Reiki’ means ‘Universal Life Force Energy’.
Karen Hudson
Reception
I have been part of the Walkerville Physiotherapy Clinic for the past 5 years.
My main responsibilities involve administration, looking after our lovely clients needs from the moment they arrive until the moment they leave the clinic and making sure everything in the practice runs as smoothly as possible & both the clients & physios are happy. I am also one of the friendly voices on the other end of the phone.

My favourite part of work besides going home 🙂 are the relationships I have built with clients, the chats, stories and occasionally the photos that we share. The team that I work with are like family. Oh, and the boss is okay too!!...... sometimes.
When I am not at work, I love spending time with my 5 beautiful grandchildren and their mummies. Also visiting the beautiful wineries of Willunga and McLaren Vale, often in that order.
